Guide & Steps for Online Passport Appointment

Read on below for a step by step process on how you can successfully schedule an online passport appointment to get a Philippine passport.

Let’s begin…

1. Confirmed online appointment from the DFA website

Go to the DFA website using this link:

You should get a screen similar to the one below.

Choose your selected site. The website will automatically show you their address and contact information. You can take note of this in case you might need them later on. When done, click next to proceed.

The screen will now show you the available dates for your chosen site. The dates on the calendar with red color are unavailable and the green color is still available for an appointment slot. Tip: If you can’t get an available date, try visiting again during midnight.

Select any available date and choose the time slot most preferable for you.

Here is where you enter your personal details and contact information.

2. Personal appearance at your chosen branch

Please take note of the date, time, and branch you chose when you made your appointment during Step 1 because you will need to go to your selected DFA site personally.

If you need to check the DFA sites available or where the nearest office is at your location, go here

3. Filled out Application Form

You need to present a filled out application form at the DFA site. For reference, you can access the original PDF file here.

4. ORIGINAL copy of Philippine Statistics Authority or PSA

To establish that you are a Filipino citizen, you need to prepare your PSA Authenticated Birth Certificate. You can easily get these at any SM Business Center or order it online.

5. At least 2 Valid IDs with photocopies

Never forget to bring your ids and photocopies when getting your Philippine passport. The DFA sites have a photocopy machine but the lines can be quite long and the price is more expensive there

That’s it! If approved, you will be able to get your Passport delivered to you or claim it at your selected branch. Bring your original passport receipt to claim your official Philippine Passport.
